The Jewish Museum Chair Menorah - Silver

SKU: prod-2361
The grouping of individual lights to form a Hanukkah menorah repeats a custom of antiquity. The original lamp composed of chairs was fashioned about 1855 in Stolin, Russia, and is re-created here in silver plate. Each chair holds one candle and is decorated with rosettes, fleur de lis, and Hebrew letters that stand for "the miracle of Hanukkah ".
