Limited edition of 250, signed and numbered This tall ketubah design puts Jerusalem high up and quotes the words said under the Chuppah: If I forget thee, O Jerusalem let my right hand forget her cunning (Psalms 137:5). “I am my Beloved’s and my Beloved is mine”, Song of Songs 6:3, appears on the hill slopes, evoking another Song of Songs verse, 2:8, “My beloved, there he comes, leaping over the mountains, bounding over hills”. I love Jerusalem. I lived there for 24 years and had my three children there. Jerusalem has fig trees and firs and sabras and pines and cypresses, and the scent of fig trees and of pine needles on a hot day takes me back to my childhood visits to my grandparents in Jerusalem. All of these you can find on the hills in this ketubah design, and also a view of the old city of Jerusalem with the Tower of David, the famous Arch of the Beit ha-Knesset ha-Hurba, (lit. “The Ruin Synagogue”), also known as Hurvat Rabbi Yehudah he-Hasidand, and the Western Wall.
