Homage to Klimt: Tree of Life

Homage to Klimt: Tree of Life. Inspired by Gustave Klimt, the Tree of Life symbolizes the continuous, spiraling branches of family, love and life. The tree is set in swirls of golden sky adorned by flowers, fruits and leaves. The ketubah text is super-imposed over the artwork. My designs are interpretations from the great masters of modern art. Drawings and watercolors combine with mixed media and alternative printmaking, forming the modern ketubah. My inspiration is a variety of artists and movements through out art history: masters of mixed media and painting like klimt, diebenkorn, johns, picasso, lichtenstein and carle, to traditional japanese and chinese watercolors and drawings, tonature.
