This reproduction is a Delft faience 18th Century plate. The Hebrew inscription on this plate is "Mazel Tov " meaning "good luck". The original was probably given as a congratulatory gift on the occasion of a marriage. The Museum's Mazel Tov plate is porcelain with hand-applied decals. It is dishwasher safe. Porcelain. 9-1/2" round.
