At this time we are showing you just a few of these items and with the help of your support will continue to add more pages as time goes on.

We have tried to make it very easy and fun for you. We have a shopping cart so that you can add items, a secured server so that you can check out and pay on line. You can email, fax, phone or even snail mail to us. We ship by UPS and have included shipping charges on the invoice.

SHALOM HOUSE is a family run store. Larry and Bernice Cooperman opened the store back in February of 1971 and now the store is run by their son David. The whole mishpucha ( family) is involved. Although Larry and Bernice think they have retired,they can still be found helping out at the store. It's not unusual to find David's mother in law lending her expertise after many years at her synagogue gift shop. David's wife Stacey is spearheading the on-line store and the kids will be helping out soon enough.

When in the Los Angeles area, make it a point to drop by the store. We're open everyday except Saturday and the Jewish Holidays. The store is bright, filled with the sounds of the latest Jewish music artist playing on the stereo as you browse through hand crafted Judaica as well as books, music and traditional ritual items like ketubot, mezuzot and kiddush cups.
